IOCTR is deeply concerned by the risks posed by the unexploded submunitions to the civilian population in Syria, as men, women and even children can be seen in the videos handling the unexploded submunitions and other untrained volunteers trying to remove anti-personnel land mines in life-threatening ways.

 Founded in 2013, our mine clearance team was established in response to the increasing dangers posed by landmines and unexploded ordnance. Since then, we have been dedicated to creating safer environments by removing hazards, educating communities, and advocating for global efforts to address the long-term impacts of mines on people and the land.

 Our team is composed of dedicated professionals who are committed to ensuring safety and peace. We have experts in mine clearance, explosive ordnance disposal, and risk management who work together to remove hazards and restore lands, contributing to a safer environment for communities in need.
